Elk101.com and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation are excited to announce the 1st annual Elk Hunting & Country Music Event to be held on Saturday July 30th, 2011. Guest seminar speakers will be back-country bowhunter Cameron Hanes and World Champion Elk Caller Corey Jacobsen. The event will also feature country music’s Andy Griggs in an intimate concert setting! Seating is limited and ticket prices start at just $9 with family ticket packages available. What: An afternoon packed full of elk hunting entertainment! Arrive early and meet the team from Elk101.com and browse sponsor/vendor booths for great deals on gear to get you ready for elk season. Participate in “Guess the Score” contests, bring the kids for exciting kids games and contests, and win some GREAT door prizes including new bows, rifles, scopes, gear…and more exciting prizes yet to be announced! Your ticket to the event is your entry for these great prizes and no raffle tickets will be sold…everyone will have an equal chance of winning!
The main event will start promptly at 1PM with a “Welcome” followed by an Elk Hunting seminar by current RMEF World Elk Calling Champion, Elk101.com’s Corey Jacobsen. Following Corey will be a special concert with Nashville’s Andy Griggs. Griggs, a fellow elk hunter, has had several #1 and top 10 country hits, including “You Won’t Ever Be Lonely”, “She’s More”, “I’ll Go Crazy”, “Tonight I Wanna Be Your Man”, “She Thinks She Needs Me”, “If Heaven”, and many more! Following Andy, keynote speaker and back-country bowhunter, Cameron Hanes, will take the stage and share motivating and successful stories of his hunts. The venue will stay open until 7PM.
