What a great time to be in the mountains! My wife and I loaded up the kids and headed up to elk country a few days ago. Things are looking good so far…everything is green and the snow pack has held on longer than usual, so there should be plenty of good feed for the elk throughout the summer and fall. Speaking of snow pack, I couldn’t believe the water levels in the creeks and rivers heading up there! It was absolutely amazing!

Only 10 more weeks to go, and spending a few hours breathing the mountain air and taking in the incredible sights didn’t help the time pass and faster! Here are a few pictures of elk country…
