Mark started hunting Elk as soon as he legally could, at the age of 14 in Colorado, with his Dad and Brothers. Harvesting most of his elk with a rifle in those early years, his passion around chasing Elk in the fall has evolved into an obsession with bowhunting screaming bulls in September. Mark and his twin brother Jeff are very dedicated to the physical and mental preparations necessary to consistently harvest elk on public land.
Mark has taken the opportunity to hunt and explore some of the finest wildlife habitat in the Western States and Canada. He has successfully harvest Elk, Deer, Caribou, Turkey and Russian Boar with his archery equipment. In the off-season, Mark shoots his bow nearly every day and regularly competes in 3-D leagues to keep his shooting skills honed for the upcoming season. As a backcountry bow hunter, Mark is well versed in the latest backcountry gear that can either make or break a hunt and is more than willing to share this information with fellow hunters.
