Jason Phelps grew up in a small logging community where hunting and fishing was pretty much all they had to do. His love for the hunting and the outdoors continues to grow and consume his time. Aside from my wife and kids, hunting is all he thinks about...especially elk. Jason has taken numerous elk with a bow, muzzleloader, and rifle, but prefers to be calling bulls into close range during September.
Jason graduated from St. Martins College in 2005 with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Washington, and currently works as a fish passage engineer.
When not spending time in the mountains, Jason can be found running Phelps Game Calls, a game call company that specializes in hand-made elk, turkey, predator, waterfowl, and other game calls (www.phelpsgamecalls.com)
Jason resides in PeEll, Washington with his wife Sondi, son Hunter, and daughter Payton.
