Mark, Im preparing to do a Colorado DIY archery hunt this September. I have been doing research for the past year and came upon this great, informative website. Some of my research has led me to Ralph Ramos out of New Mexico. He too uses this aggressive method and has tagged several trophy Elk with it. I will definatley add this method to my Elk hunting "toolbox". Thanks for the information.

yep i agree and also the charging offensive trick works great on muleys to, id have to say that 80% of my muley bucks had some type of sprint built into the stalk. gets there heart pumping good and fast so when you stick an arrow through it they dont go very far at all, usually drop within a few feet. thanks for the post, im new to the website and enjoyed reading.

Mark,
Your 100% correct. I hear alot of fellow archery hunters who discribe similar hunts, where they held back and played it safe, but never put it together enough to see the bull. Im with ya brother, be aggresive!

Mark,

The secrets out now!

You're 100% correct. 9 out of 10 times if a bull hangs up, you need to put on your Nike's. There's nothing like what a bull does when he's put on the defensive!
