Congrats on an awesome bull Rob. I was wondering how you like the P90X program? Do you feel you were in the shape you wanted to be in for your hunt? I’m doing a solo bivy hunt next fall and just started the P90X program a couple days ago. Will supplement with lots of hiking/climbing through the spring and summer.

Very well written ! As I read on, I felt as tho I was along side Rob. It was as if I was watching the story on TV. A life long memory for Rob. What dedication to the sport. I can imagine many tasty cook outs. Congratulation for the spirit of the hunt and all the hard work you knew that was ahead of you to recover the elk. GOOD LUCK on your hunts to come. I call Rob “Grizzly Adams” and this is why. Now I’m pissed that I didn’t get to hunt much this year. But, now I have a goal and a “target” to beat. Way to go Griz!
